Day 1. Arrival & transfer to hotel. (overnight Accra.)
Day 2. Accra city tour, visiting the W.E.B Dubois center, the Kwame Nkrumah memorial park (the final resting place of the first president of Ghana) & the arts and craft market to shop till you drop. (overnight Accra)
Day 3. Travel to Aburi for a naming ceremony & continue to cape coast. (overnight cape coast).
Day 4. Visit the Elmina and Cape coast slave dungeons (where our ancestors were enslaved and made the journey of no return) also see the west African historical museum.
Day 5. Visit the Kakum rain forest and experience the walk of the canopy hanging in the air.
Day 6. Travel to Kumasi the seat of the Ashanti king, the occupant of the golden stool, stop en route at Assin Manso, to see the slave river, where our ancestors had their last bath before being taken to the slave dungeons. Visit the Manhyia palace museum.
Day 7. Visit the Ashanti craft villages.
