I enjoyed my second trip to Ghana, my most memorable experience. This trip was the enstoolment of the Queen Mother Nana. Sly is a great tour leader.

This was my second homecoming to Ghana, but my first experience with Sly. It was truly a pleasure! Sly served as an invaluable and resourceful guide as we traveled throughout the various regions. Sly is very intelligent, witty, and funny. I hope he continues to lead many more groups in the future, and I look forward to working with him again.

Your chaperoning of our group was done in a highly professional and intellectually stimulating manner. I was especially appreciative of the points of interest that you showed us that other travelers likely miss – for example, the coffin maker and the last wash site. The next time I come I will contact you.

The third time is truly a charm! This homecoming has been all that I hoped for and more! Sly mixes in jokes, proverbs, and folklore to provide an entertaining experience. The enstoolment of Nana Gyankroma was a once in a lifetime experience that I will treasure.

This is my first trip to Ghana and I loved it. The people of Ghana are some of the best people I met in my life. This is a trip I will never forget.

My first trip to Ghana has been a very humbling experience. Our ancestors suffered atrocities so that we have an opportunity to return to our roots. We must embrace our history and take full advantage of our advances to continue our journey to freedom and independence. Our destiny is to continue and strive forward; our future is our children.

Visiting and experiencing Ghana with Sly as my guide was fantastic. He managed to arrange so much, explained the history and customs, and kept me informed on what I was able to safely eat and drink while introducing me to many Ghanaian foods. Many of the roads are not on any map, and some are less than ideal. Having Sly as my driver and guide overcame the difficulties I would have had, which made my trip both highly successful and enjoyable. After a lifelong fascination with Africa, my wife and I recently had the opportunity to go to Ghana. Our experience was both pleasurable and memorable, due largely to the hospitality and expertise of our tour guide, Sly Hutchison – from the markets of Accra to the slave castles of Cape Coast to the Ashanti culture of Kumasi, and the many villages in between.
