Day 1 -16 th Jan-City tour of Accra to see the ancient city and beautiful monuments, Visit the national museum which was opened on the eve of Independence Day. Continue to the W.E.B.Dubois Centre where Dr. Dubois spent the last three years of his life whiles he was living in Ghana. Also visit the Kwame Nkrumah memorial park, where the mortal remains of Kwame Nkrumah, one of the greatest pillars of Africa lie. Continue to the arts and craft market and shop till you drop. Day 2.17 th Jan Day 4.Travel to Kumasi stopping en route at Assin Manso to see the Slave River (this is where our ancestors had their last bath after the long painful walk from northern Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Mali. On arrival in Kumasi visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword site to see the mysterious sword in the ground that no man born of a woman can pull out. (Mohammed Ali, the greatest boxer of all time tried to pull this sword out when he visited Ghana) Continue to the Manhyia palace Museum,( Here history will unfold as you learn about Yaa Asantewaa, the greatest Ashanti female warrior of all time who single-handed raised an army and fought the British in 1900 for their insolence and also for holding the Ashanti king captive. Day 3. Visit the Elmina Castle the largest of all the slave dungeons and the first slave castle ever to be built in sub-Saharan Africa. The Elmina slave dungeons have a different story to tell as the famous Ashanti king and his family was imprisoned here before they were finally deported to Seychelles Island. You will then continue with a walking tour of Elmina to learn more about the activities of the Europeans and how they lived with the natives of Elmina, the

Day 5.Today put on your hiking shoes and dress casually to visit the Kumasi Central market (the biggest market in West Africa) you will have a shock as you see thousands of vendors. Experience the exciting walk through the market, don’t forget to try your bargaining skills on the market) Continue to the Ashanti craft villages. Ahwiaa- Wood Carving Village.
