Visiting and experiencing Ghana with Sly as my guide was fantastic, he managed to arrange so much, and was able to arrange with places I was to visit, explained the history and customs, and kept me informed on what I was able to safely eat and drink while at the same time introducing me to many Ghanaian foods. Ghana is a safe place to visit, and the people pleasant, and many can speak a form of English, although it’s not always easy to communicate with everyone. Guides and those dealing with tourists a lot just about everywhere through the country are easy to understand. Many of the roads are not on any map, and some are less than ideal. Like many other places, you also find some people who expect money from tourists. Having Sly as my driver and guide overcame the difficulties that I would have had, which made my trip both highly successful and enjoyable. Many of the galleries on this website contain a selection of the photographs I was able to take ranging from old forts to wildlife to cloth-making to a funeral. I can without hesitation recommend anyone visiting Ghana to use the services that Sly and Slutch Tours can offer.
